Mac and Cheese!

Today Ruthie taught me how to make homemade mac and cheese, so I wrote up the recipe – with step-by-step pictures – to share with all of you. It's Nick's favorite dinner, and if he likes it, you should, too!

Winter at Bear Lake

Since most of you don't make it to Bear Lake in the winter, I wanted to share this with you. As you can imagine, it is pretty nasty and cold here in the winter, but every once in a while when every little branch on the trees gets covered with frost, it is just so beautiful against the blue sky and lake. We've had lots of days like that this week and one evening it was just so beautiful with just a hint of pink from the setting sun, I decided to take a picture. This is just off my back porch. So, I'm sharing it with all of you. Enjoy! (P.S. This is my very first post to a blog ever! I'm so proud!)

Tonight we had a final family gathering before Steve and Alma/Mom and Dad/Grandma and Grandpa leave for their mission to Vermont. Some of us decided that it would be a good idea to have a blog where everyone can post the latest news, pictures, videos, stories, events, etc. as well as links to personal and family blogs and photo galleries. I am sending invitations to join the blog to at least one person from each family.
